Trunk Club review #2

Trunk Club is a styling service for men and women. You keep and pay for what you like and send the rest back (free shipping both ways). There isn’t a styling fee.  All of their clothes came from Nordstrom. BUT they don’t get to choose from everything at Nordstrom. Trunk Club’s selection is smaller.

My last stylist (Brooke) left the company. My new stylist is Kendall. I talked with her on the phone about what I like to wear, and she prepared a trunk for me. I told her no shorts, sandals or heels. I also told her I like maxi dresses, and I wanted loose fitted tops. I did not mention a price range. Here’s what she sent:

Brand: NYDJ

Price: $69.60 (on sale)

I know this looks “grown up” AKA grandmotherly in the picture, but in real life, it looks better. Anyone who knows me (or reads my blog) knows I’m not a grown up. I dress (and act) like a conservative teenager.

Verdict: As of right now, I’m keeping this.

Brand: Free People

Price: $68

I received a sky blue version of this. At first, I hated it. But I kept trying it on, and I like it. It might have something to do with me really wanting fall clothing. I have enough summer clothes.

Verdict: I’m on the fence. So far this is a keeper. NOPE. I changed my mind due to finances. I would like this is the fall when I will probably (hopefully) have more money.

Brand: Free People

Price: $58

Verdict: Sigh. I wanted to keep this, but I have to keep $$$ in mind. How often will I wear a plain black t-shirt? I will almost always reach for something with a print. So I’m unfortunately returning it. I love it, though.

Brand: DL1961

Price: $168

I don’t own a pair of white jeans. Yes, there is an obvious reason for that. Hello? Who can keep white clean?

Verdict: I wanted to like these, but they were a tad too big. I’m not paying $168 for jeans unless they fit perfectly.

Brand: Equipment

Price: $218

I love Equipment. I borrowed one of their blouses from Rent The Runway. I wore it during my Asheville vacay.

Verdict: Returning. I didn’t love it enough to spend $218.

Brand: Felicity & CoCo

Price: $88

I thought I would like this, but the colors…ugh! The bottom is orange and pink. I don’t wear orange.

Verdict: Returning. For some reason she sent me a medium even though I told them, I wear a small in dresses. A tad too big.

Brand: Felicity & CoCo

Price: $88

Same brand, same size, different fit. Strange. This is also a medium, but it fits! Well, it is too long, but I will either wear wedges or get it hemmed. This is by far my favorite item. However, I have so many blue and white maxi dresses. Tough decision.

Verdict: Keeping. 🙂

Brand: Frame

Price: $249

I wanted to try these because I don’t have anything like them. Let’s just get to the verdict.

Verdict: Too big. Too long. Horrible fit. Returning.

Brand: Joie

Price: $268

I requested two floral blouses because she was giving me mostly solids. I like prints. I love Joie but…

Verdict: Returning. Despite the floral print, this is still too plain.

Brand: Joie

Price: $228

Joie has such beautiful blouses. I don’t know why I didn’t get the ones I saw in Saks 5th Avenue. Perhaps they don’t have them at Nordstrom/Trunk Club? I haven’t checked.

Verdict: Returning. Too plain.

Brand: Joie

Price: $238

It looks a little better in person.

Verdict: Returning

Brand: Eileen Fisher

Price: $98

This was the most disappointing item I received.

Verdict: returning $98 for that cropped t-shirt?!

Brand: Halogen

Price: $46

I love cardigans, but I like them to be oversized. Way too fitted.

Verdict: Returning

Brand: Halogen

Price: $46

I can get a similar cardigan at Forever 21. Too fitted (again). Too plain.

Verdict: Returning

Brand: Paige Denim

Price: $179

I wanted to try these jeans because I have never tried cropped jeans before. AND I love Paige jeans. I have a pair I have been wearing constantly from ThredUp. I paid less than $35 for those jeans.

Verdict: Returning. They are a little too big.

I wanted to keep a pair of jeans. It isn’t Kendall’s fault that I’m losing weight, and nothing really fits at the moment. Overall, I think she did a good job. I don’t dress my age. I guess I should ask for trendier items. I don’t know how to word it. Most of these blouses/cardigans are too grown up for me.

There is still a chance I may change my mind on some things if something goes on sale like the NYDJ blouse did. I will update this post if I change my mind. As of right now, I’m only keeping 3 things.

I enjoyed this trunk more than my first trunk because I had more options.  If you want Kendall as your stylist you can click right here.

I’m the most excited for the BeBe faux leather leggings. I got a chance to try a pair on, and I loved them. I rocked them. 😉 I love that they only have faux leather on the front so the pants won’t be too hot. So this is it. I’m not planning on ordering from ThredUp again for a couple of months. I just wanted to get fall and winter clothes.

My first Lyon + Post review

Lyon and Post or Lyon + Post advertise itself as a try on clothing service. They send you four items that you personally picked. Try them on and keep whatever you want. Send back what you don’t within seven days of receiving the clothes. Free shipping both ways.

Before I share what I received, I’ll give my review of the company. The main con is the price of the clothing. However, they have sales. All of the items I asked for were on sale and affordable. The clothes are worth the high prices. They have brands like DVF, Joie, and Paige Denim. Want to try on a Joie blouse, but can’t afford it?  Or is that just me? 😉 You can try it with Lyon and Post without leaving your house.

To be honest, the only reason why I tried this company was because of the $30 credit I received from someone’s referral link. You can have $30 credit with my link, and then you get a link you can pass on to others. That is one excellent thing about this company. You can use the $30 credit on any item.

Hint: Go to Lyon + Post‘s website and click on shop, then click on sale to see really good deals. You have the $30 credit from clicking on my link so why not try it?

The clothes come in a nice wrapped package with their logo:

Lyon and post

Here are the four items I picked to receive:

Brand/name: Ella Moss Ramy fringe poncho cardigan

Cost: 93.80 (on sale from $268)

Verdict: The fact that this on sale at Bloomingdale’s for $140.70 right now makes me want to keep it. I could have it for $63.80 (with the credit)!! It is so soft. Sigh. BUT it is still pricey, and it’s black. I have a dog. He sheds. I will have to part with this, mainly due to the price. I love it, though.

Brand/name: Bella Luxx shawl neck cardigan

Cost: 88.80 (on sale from $148)

Verdict: Not keeping. Can you tell I have a thing for cardigans? I’m always cold. Anyway, I found this on sale for $59 at Gilt. Only 3 are left as I’m typing this so they will sell out, but I could have it for a lower price if I really wanted it. I’m still not that interested. It feels great on, but it’s just a gray cardigan. It does look better in real life than it that pic, IMO.

Brand/name: Bella Luxx t-back maxi dress

Cost: 59.20 (on sale from $148)

Verdict: Not keeping. I don’t need another maxi dress. I thought it was going to be sheer, and it’s not. That was a nice surprise. It would only be $29.20 with my credit, but nah. I don’t like it. Too plain.

I can’t find a picture of the jeans. They are described as “Cropped, mid rise skinny jeans with perfect natural waist fit and classic 5-pocket detailing. Standard fit”.Here is a link to the Lyon + Post website with a pic.

Brand/name: Courtshop Mandy cropped straight leg

Cost: 47.25 (on sale from $135)

Verdict: Keeping. These jeans will be 17.25 with my $30 credit. $17.25 for a nice pair of jeans? Score!! I wish they were a half inch longer, but otherwise, I’m happy with the fit. I didn’t know when I picked them (or tried them on) that they were cropped. I don’t like cropped jeans and would never have had them sent, but now I’m glad I have them.

I’m keeping one item and sending the rest back. I don’t want to part with the Ella Moss poncho. 😦 I’m not sending the box back until Thursday, so there is still a small chance I might change my mind. Should I keep the poncho and send the jeans back? Hmmm. I doubt I do that, but there’s still time.

One thing I didn’t know is that you have to send the items back in the same box they send! So be careful opening the box. I thought they were sending a return envelope like Stitch Fix. They provide a shipping label, and you just put it over the label on the box.

This service made me miss LeTote. So I reactivated my LeTote subscription. I know, I know. LeTote is awesome because you get to wear the clothes and not just try them on. I will only use Lyon + Post to try on clothes I want to try. If you want to try LeTote, I have a referral link for that too. You can get a FREE TOTE if you use my referral link for LeTote.

Another difference between LeTote and Lyon and Post is that with LeTote, you put a bunch of stuff in your “closet”, and they pick three clothing items and two accessories. You don’t have as much say over what they will send. But I happen to love my box coming early next week. I will do a whole post on LeTote because I have so much to say about the pros and cons of that service.

Thanks for reading.

My first Stitch Fix!

Most people reading this probably know what Stitch Fix is. I’ll do a brief synopsis of the service. It is a clothing styling service. You pay a $20 styling fee for a stylist to send you 5 items (clothes, jewelry, handbags, shoes etc.) You pay for what you want to keep, send the rest back. Free shipping.

Now let’s get to the fun part!

I feel that overall, my stylist (Amy) did a great job sending me what I was looking for. The only weird things are the price points are a little higher than what I asked for, and I only pinned boot legged jeans on my Pinterest board, but she sent skinny jeans. Here is what I received:

Jesse maxi dress

Brand/name: Loveapella Jesse Maxi Dress

Cost: $78

Verdict: Keeping. It’s gorgeous. I LOVE it. I can’t wait to wear this with my denim jacket.

Brand/name: Just Black Adorra Skinny Jean (in mint)

Cost: $88

Verdict: Keeping. I would never have bought mint jeans for myself, but they fit well. My camera didn’t capture the color well but another blogger received them, and she has a pic.

Dawson crochet shoulder knit top

Brand/name: Papermoon Dawson Crochet Shoulder Knit Top

Cost: $54

Verdict: Keeping. It hangs too low in the front, but that’s probably my fault. I asked for a medium in blouses even though I’m a size small. I like my tops to be relaxed fit, but not this relaxed. I’m still going to wear it so it is worth the price.

Windermere lace sleeve blouse

Brand/name: 41Hawthorn Windermere Lace Sleeve Blouse

Cost: $54

Verdict: Keeping. Same as above. A tad too big. But I’m going to rock it anyway. I will invest in a strapless bra, so these blouses look better, and I will probably change my blouse size to small for future fixes.

Jacey striped reversible tote

Brand/name: Street Level Jacey Striped Reversible Tote

Cost: $62

Verdict:  Keeping. I love bags, but this one falls into the ‘like’ category. I only kept it for the “buy 5” discount. I asked for a specific purse that is not in stock anymore, so I got this one instead. The inside of the bag is tan. I have enough tan bags, so I won’t ever reverse it.

Yes, I’m keeping all 5 items!! I love the jeans and the maxi dress. The two blouses are very nice, but a little too big. And the purse is just alright. Since I’m keeping all 5 items, I get a 25% discount. My total is $232. Ouch. I’m not used to spending this much on clothes. I wanted to do a birthday fix (May 16th), but my wallet will NOT allow it. 😦

I had a great experience with my first fix. Amy looked at my Pinterest board and could tell what I would like. I’m sort of amazed. How did she know I love lace so much? I guess between my note to her and my pins, she figured it out. 😉 I’m not sure when I’m doing another one. I want to do either Trunk Club or Stitch Fix for fall clothing. (Read my Trunk Club review). I don’t know if I will buy anything in between since all this is very expensive (to me). Besides, I have enough clothes for now.

Edited to add: Ahhh! I found out about a new service. It is called Lyon + Post.  Thanks to Nicole for the $30 credit. If you click that link, you get a $30 credit. I’m getting 4 items next week and I will be doing a blog post on my experience. It’s an online clothing try-on service. You get to pick what is sent to you. And you only keep what you want to pay for. LOVE it.

Trunk Club review (#1)

Trunk Club is a styling service for men and women. If you live near a Trunk Club office, you can go in person and get styled, or you can have the clothes delivered to you. I had the clothes delivered to me. They have offices in Chicago, Dallas, LA, NYC, and DC. I’m planning to go to their office in DC to get personally styled. But I want to have enough money to splurge, so that is on hold. You keep and pay for what you like and send the rest back (free shipping both ways). There isn’t a styling fee.  All of my clothes came from Nordstrom, but I think they can pull clothes from other places as well.

I asked for a low price point and a casual maxi dress or skirt. I also told her I work from home and that I dress conservatively. Here is what my stylist (Brooke) sent me:

Brand: Love, Fire

Cost: $52

Verdict:  I’m keeping this. I love maxi dresses, and this one fits. Love the color.

Brand: Splendid

Cost: $178

Verdict:  Sending back. Um, vertical stripes?? NO. I don’t like this dress at all. It’s a little too dressy and definitely too pricey.

Brand: Splendid

Cost: $68

Verdict: Sending back. Not my style and $68 for a t-shirt? It also hangs a little too low.

Brand: Caslon

Cost: $68

Verdict: Sending back. I was so excited to receive this, but the fabric is too thin. Not worth it.

Brand: Stem

Cost: $41 (on sale)

Verdict: Sending back. Way too long. I like it, but it drags on the floor.

Brand: Halogen

Cost: $68

Verdict: Keeping. I didn’t want to like this dress, but I do. I hate showing my legs, but I will wear pantyhose and a tall pair of boots. Winner.

Brand: Nordstrom

Cost: $28

Verdict: Sending back. Just a pair of simple leggings. Nothing special. See below.

Brand: Two by Vince Camuto

Cost: $49

Verdict: Sending back. I LOVE these, but they are too big. She sent a medium; I need a small. Maybe she will resend these to me? Or I may buy them straight from Nordstroms if my stylist isn’t responsive. They are so nice. They are called leggings but they are more like slacks. I don’t have a pair of black slacks.

Update: Brooke is sending me the above leggings in a size small. I’m not getting another trunk for now.

Overall, I’m pleased with the items. I’m only keeping 2 out of 7, but I liked 3 out of 7. One is a sizing issue. I hear they expect you to keep at least 1-2 items per trunk so not bad.

Most trunks come with 15 items, but since I asked for items below $75, she sent what she called a “small trunk.” I would NOT recommend going that low. I would ask for items below $125-$150 if I had to do it again. The stylist will tell you that Trunk Club is a premium clothing service and blah, blah. So don’t ask for clothes under $75 even though they do have clothes under that price point, they clearly don’t like being asked for that. (Not based only on my experience, but also reading the experience of others).

From all the research I’ve done, I feel confident Trunk Club is a good company. However, it is all about the stylist. There are a few bad apples out there. They don’t respond to emails or on the app. Brooke will call you as soon as you sign up. That’s what she did with me a few months ago. She responds quickly to messages and will treat you with respect. I recommend her. I haven’t heard one bad word about her.

I will update this post if Brooke decides to send a follow-up trunk like many stylists do.

I’m getting my first Stitch Fix on April 14th. I’m excited to try them. Their clothes cost less than Trunk Club.  I will do a short entry on SF when I get my first box. Thanks for reading!

why I got you on my mind

I don’t know what to do! OMG. Le Tote just sent me pics of what I’m getting in my next box and Oh my freaking god. I love it. I was going to cancel on November 21 so I wouldn’t be charged again but how can I cancel when they are sending me a Jessica Simpson clutch (with a long strap – I don’t do clutches), and a maxi dress? HELLO? Totally my style. WHY?

I had my mind made up. No more totes. sigh. Le Tote, I hate you for making me love you. I will post pics of everything I get like I did last time. I did sign up for Stitch Fix, but I’m hoping making YouTube videos will offset a little bit of the cost. Anything is possible. I get my first “Fix” on December 3rd. I delayed it on purpose because I thought I would be done with Le Tote. I made a Pinterest board for my Stitch Fix stylist. If you want to see what my ideal style is, visit that board.

I have never shown my face on YouTube (only my hands). I’m getting an inexpensive tripod and I will try making videos. In fact, I may make a Le Tote video which I know will get a lot of views because there aren’t that many videos about them on YT. That’s scary. Anyway, ahhhh!

WTF am I doing? I have no idea. But it’s fun. 🙂

The one thing that is bothering me about Le Tote is that they just sent an email saying they are raising their prices soon. 😦 However, I get grandfathered in (and anyone who signs up under me or any other member gets grandfathered in) so the price isn’t going up on us soon. I  should have known that once they started getting Jessica Simpson and other brands, their price would go up. But they better bring in some really good brands. I think the price is perfect as is…I wish it were lower so I could keep the subscription forever, but I understand the current pricing.

I just had to post because I’m sitting here bursting with excitement. Back to work for an hour or so. I hope I get my clothes before Saturday. I’m off on Monday and I’m going out and I would love to rock some of those clothes. I love fashion. I try to reign that part of me in sometimes because clothes cost money and I would rather spend money on experiences (like travel).

I really have to go now. Bye.

initial thoughts on Le Tote

Le Tote has been branded as a Netflix for clothes. You pay a fee ($49) and you get clothes and accessories. You can send them back in 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months. And then you get “new” clothes. You get to pick what you want if you choose to or they will pick for you base on what you like. New is in quotes because the clothes are used (but clean). LeTote has clothes/accessories from Jessica Simpson, Levi, Betsy Johnson, Nine West, BCBGeneration, French Connection and more.

I got my first LeTote box at a 20% discount on Thursday. I told them no dresses, skirts, bracelets, or shorts. So my box is pretty boring, but that is my fault. I work at home and it is getting cold so I don’t have a need for dresses even though their dresses and skirts look divine. Please don’t judge Le Tote based on my clothes I post here. 😉  Go to the website and you can see what they offer. (If you click on that link you get $25 off your first box or you can just go to

One more note: Even though I am kind of small (123 lbs and about 5’5″), I told them to send me medium tops because my stomach is not flat. One of the medium blouses was a little too big, but I’m wearing it anyway. The “stylist” sent me a small top that I did not choose. That was kind of snug. Once again I’m still wearing it. It would have been great in a medium. The medium sweater fit perfectly.

Anyway, here is what I got in box #1:

blouse by Octavia

Blouse by Summer & Sage

sweater by Fate

sweater by Fate

earrings by Noir Luxe

earrings by Noir Luxe

necklace by Ava

necklace by Ava

My favorite thing are the earrings. I thought it would be the necklace. I’m wearing those earrings every time I go out until I send these items back. Love them. I would keep them, but I’m trying to be good. (You can keep any item or all the items for a discount. The earrings are $20 with the discount).

If I worked in the office, I would totally keep this subscription. I like wearing different clothes. But since I go out only once or twice a week during the winter, I don’t need different clothes so I don’t know what I’m going to do. I would try Stitch Fix, but you don’t get to wear all the clothes. You can only try on their clothes and wear what you want to buy. That is the biggest difference between the two. I probably will try Stitch Fix this summer when I actually leave the house from time to time. 🙂  I’m sending this box back to Le Tote on November 10 because I want to wear the jewelry as much as possible.

Overall, I like Le Tote. I’m going to skip January since my lifestyle doesn’t call for new clothes that often. The biggest con for me is that some of the clothes come wrinkled. LOL. I hate ironing but luckily for me, I didn’t have to iron anything in this box. I don’t think the price is that bad because you get to wear all the clothes and accessories.

I will have more thoughts and maybe more posts on Le Tote once I get more clothes. These are just my initial thoughts.

Forever 21 Haul

We all know Forever 21 clothes rarely last a long time. However, some minimalists I know of will shop at Forever 21 because they are only looking for things that will last ONE season. That way the person can still shop a few times a year…if shopping is a hobby that works out great. Most people insist that your capsule wardrobe must have expensive items that will last, but I like the idea of mixing both. I have high quality items and F21 items.

Here are the items from my F21 fall/winter haul. It isn’t that exciting. Lots of gray. The first item is a pair of yoga pants. I had no idea I would like them so much.  I wore them out yesterday. So comfy! I would have gotten two pairs. This is the only thing I didn’t take a photo of myself. I just snagged it from the website:

yoga pants

some color!

some color!

That’s all folks. That is what I will be mostly wearing through March. I’m such a fashionista.  (<–sarcasm) The clothes are not fashionable, but it fits a  minimalist wardrobe perfectly.

This week I…

Music of the week: Hamilton (Broadway Cast), Janet Jackson, Carly Rae Jepsen, James Bay Selena Gomez, Leona Lewis, Jewel, Jennifer Lopez

TV of the week:  Lost (season 1)

I doubt I rewatch all of Lost but starting it seemed like a good idea at one point.

Movies of the week:  none

Books of the week:  Still reading Soul Shifts: Transformative Wisdom for Creating a Life of Authentic Awakening, Emotional Freedom, &  Practical Spirituality (on page 107) by Dr. Barbara De Angelis and  Miss Minimalist: Inspiration to Downsize, Declutter, and Simplify  (38% through) by Francine Jay. Soul Shifts has some good reminders, but I don’t like the way it is written. I don’t like her anecdotes. I’m just going to speed read through the rest of it.

I just started Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More by Janet Mock. Janet is a trans women. I bet this book is more insightful than any self-help book. It’s great so far. I find myself relating to the LGBT community.

Planner update:

plans of the week

plans of the week

It’s time to make a decision on what planner I will use for 2016. I’m leaning towards Inkwell Press A5 inserts even though I’m not crazy about horizontal layouts. I think I’m going to order one and try it. I will put it in my gold Kikki.K. I’m impressed with Inkwell because they have the best paper quality on the planner market and their planners are goal oriented.

For my personal sized planner, I going with an Esty seller’s inserts. Her company is called Life is Crafted. She is in Austrailia. The shipping of those inserts should be interesting. I’ve had different results with shipping from Austrailia. They are kind of expensive (but worth it).

This is just my beginning

So far it seems like the cheat day on Nutrisystem worked! Surprise. I never weigh 134 in the middle of the day but today I did. I hope I can get down to 130…without having another cheat day. EDIT: I now weigh 133!!!!!!!111!!!! The cheat day totally worked. Yay! I have lost 9 pounds on NS. 3 more to go? I’m quitting the program in the end of July and doing the same thing on my own.

“NEW” CLOTHES ALERT. I have a brand new wardrobe. Coats, pants, skirt suits, blouses, etc. The only downside is that all of these clothes have to be dry cleaned. I even have a 100% cashmere coat. I kid you not!!! (O god, how much will that cost to dry clean?)  Some of the blouses I’m wearing without dry cleaning. There is no shame in my game.

(Btw, I got these clothes from a well off couple at an estate sale)

So yeah, I got about $3000 worth of clothes for $25. No biggie. That is not the norm. I just got lucky with this lot of clothes. The other clothes were worth about $5000 and went for $200. That is more the norm for estate sales.

This dress by Nina Ricci will probably be my go to interview outfit. I dunno. I have 3 to choose from. I just love purple so this is a front runner:

suit - Nina Ricci

Here is the vintage bag from Monsac. It came with a dust bag. I will probably try to sell it on Etsy. It is too white and small for me.

Another interview/office setting skirt suit:

I love, love, love this skirt. It is in the bottom of my “to be dry cleaned” box and I’m too lazy to go find out the designer.

This isn’t everything. I would be here all night if I took pics of everything. I have 2 Chanel pants that I love but are underwhelming in photos. I’m selling 5 of the items out of about 25.

I know it isn’t cool to blog about what designer clothes you have. But:

  1. I brought these used.
  2. I got picked on daily for my clothes all throughout regular school and college….and occasionally by “grown ups” in the workplace!

So I don’t feel at all bad about posting this. YAY, new clothes. I love clothes. 🙂 🙂 I know I’m going to freak when I see how much these clothes cost to dry clean. lol.

Forever is a slow dream

I erased my last short entry on the death/murder of my coworker. I erased it due to privacy reasons. This has been an emotional week. It’s so weird to know she’s not here anymore.  Tragic, shocking and sad. I can’t say anymore.

Quick Nutrisystem update: My weight is at 134…sometimes. The lowest I’ve seen on the scale is 134.4. I received my 2nd box of NS food today. It is like Xmas even though I’m paying a lot for it. This time I got food I like which means lots of muffins (for breakfast), meatballs, lasagna, pizza, chocolate cake, etc. How healthy does that sound? lol. After this, I will keep delaying my order or just cancel. 😦 I will miss it but I’m ready to eat on my own.

I’m getting ready for my sale on Sunday! I would be more nervous if I were going on my own. My mom is coming with me just on this one day. I hope it doesn’t rain. That would suck. Then I will have to go by myself next weekend. I get anxious around the other sellers. The buyers/lookers don’t usually bother me. But I won’t worry about that now.

The only bad thing about my mom coming is that I’m forced to leave a lot of stuff at home. I’m having a hard time deciding what to take and what to leave. The coats are nicely priced. Why can’t I take them? Just because it is 80 degrees? Don’t people know it will be cold in December? I’m going to give people a little credit here. I’m taking them if they can fit in the car.

Here are some new things I brought recently:

what a doll!

what a doll!

I love this doll. This doll is my inner deeply hidden, diva self….or I want her meaning I find her very attractive. 😉 I’m not selling her cheaply. If someone wants to pay $25 for her, the person can have her. The price is firm. I wanted to charge $30. I love this doll so much. I’m fine with not parting with her.

I got the Oscar De La Renta dress!! Ahhhhh! I’m going to take it to a consignment shop when I’m off next month…if I can find one willing to take the dress. It isn’t the best looking dress but it is Oscar De La Renta. I never thought I would own one of his dresses.

I also brought this lovely gown:

How gorgeous is that? It looks better when you can see the whole thing. I wish I had somewhere to wear that! Selling it for $25 but I’m willing to go down to maybe $15. I just want to get rid of it because it is too big and bulky.

The main things I’m selling on Sunday are:

  • men’s clothes
  • coats
  • gowns/dresses
  • dolls
  • purses
  • shoes
  • beanie babies (for $1 a piece)
  • Nutrisystem food
  • luggage

I hope I can fit all that into my car. I’m going to try my best to stuff it in there…somehow. #SideHustle I hope people show up! I’m only going to be there until 12:30 due to my mom’s obligations so I will miss a ton of people. This is just a test run. If a lot of people don’t show up, then I will go somewhere else next time. The only reason I chose this place is because 1.) no business license is required and 2.) they allow tables to be rented.
