So I can finally breathe

I’m working as a virtual assistant for only one person now. I finished the other person’s project. I did her social media graphics for a month. (!!) She gave me a GREAT review/testimonial. I have it on my VA website and on Facebook.

She’s a business coach, and she’s about to leave her full-time job to do coaching full-time. She doesn’t live far from me. She’s in DC. Anyway, it was nice to get good feedback. I enjoyed doing it too! I’ve been doing my own social media graphics for two years, but I didn’t take it seriously when doing it for myself.

I’m still working for client A. It’s going okay BUT she wants me to call local businesses in addition to what I’m supposed to be doing. I suck on the phone especially when cold calling people!! This is challenging for me. I have to get over it. I’ve only called two companies so far. Over the next two weeks, I feel the pressure to get results.

Overall, I’m enjoying it. But I also have to work full-time and I just don’t feel like I have time to get everything in. One other person wants me to work for her, and she encouraged me to ask for more money! If I valued myself more, I would contact her NOW since I’m only working for one other person. If I get more organized, I would probably be able to work for her. I’ll give myself two weeks to see if I get results for client A. If I don’t get results, there’s no way I’m going to volunteer to work for someone else doing the same thing.

That’s that.

I’ve been eating like crap. That sort of changes today. I still have leftover “bad” food. I’m not throwing the food away. Of course not! Some of it could go to my mom. I can’t donate it because it’s not canned food. However, that’s not the point. The point is that FOOD is MONEY. I can’t just throw food away and start anew. That costs money.

It’s not about weight. It’s about wanting to feel better.  The last time I weighed myself I was 133 lbs. I was shocked and glad. That was about 6 weeks ago. I know I weigh more now. I’m probably about 136 because I’ve been eating crap.

Client A is coaching me. She wants me to eat organic. Of course! I just went to the store today to test prices, and it’s cheaper to eat processed food than to even eat chicken! Okay, it’s not that much more, but it is more. Now I’m back to eating chicken for dinner every day.

I don’t cook. I just baked a week’s worth of chicken today, and I hated every second of it. LOL. I used to bake chicken every week about a year ago. I hated it back then even though it’s easy. I just hate cooking. Now I need to add vegetables. I don’t eat beans or rice. So I guess it’s vegetables. But I need a new crockpot. Sigh.

Election 2020: It looks like Pete Buttigieg is going to be the one moderates go for. Ugh. Well, I don’t like any of the moderates. If I had to pick a moderate, it would probably be Pete. So…at least it’s not Biden? Yet. He may win South Carolina and some deluded people will think he’s electable. Whatever.

I’m planning to vote for Warren in the primary. If Biden is #1 or #2 in the state, I may have to vote for Sanders or whoever is in second place. I’ll do whatever it takes so Biden won’t win. It depends on the local polls. We vote on Super Tuesday (March 3).

I don’t know why people made such a big deal out of Iowa. If anything, it sucks for the voters and the politicians because they dumped a bunch of money in Iowa. But overall, it’s just one state. Sanders or Pete won. Warren came in 3rd. Biden came in 4th. Next! Onto New Hampshire.

It’s taking me forever to read, so my new plan is to listen to an audiobook for at least 30 minutes a day.

Weekend Plans: Today is Sunday – my day off. I’m working on my virtual assistant portfolio. I don’t have time to work on that during the week. From now on, I will try to take all Sundays off from any real work. I kind of had to take Friday night off because we didn’t have internet all evening.
