If a person can’t find one good thing to say about another person, that says more about that person then the person, they are talking about. Yes, John McCain brings this to mind. But I’m talking about everyone. Dead or alive.
I’m reading another book on Aaron Hernandez. He killed people. I can find good things to say about him. It’s not that hard unless the person has skewed thinking. And that is what I think of people who can’t find ONE THING good to say about John McCain. Why should I listen to anything they have to say? How credible are they if they can only see the bad things?
I admire McCain for staying back in Vietnam when he didn’t have to. I wish he wasn’t beaten and kept in a solitary cell for years. I admire his courage. Simple as that. I only agree with him 20% politically. I don’t remember everything he did. People say he was the one who allowed that dreaded Iraq war. I blame Colin Powell more for saying there were WMDs. But maybe I’m remembering history incorrectly? I know McCain definitely supported the war, but so did Hillary Clinton. So did most of congress…unfortunately.
I look forward to reading McCain’s autobiography although I know there will be a long wait for it at the library. So I won’t be reading it anytime soon. Yes, I’m going to miss McCain. With him, I knew there was a chance he could side with what I believed in (The Affordable Care Act for example). I’m sad for his family and many friends.
To all the people who want to say only negative things: Hey, you have something in common with Trump! Good for you. 😉
I didn’t get any YouTube videos recorded this weekend because I decided to let my mentor read over my scripts. I could really use her feedback. So I guess I’ll be recording them during the week. Ugh. However, I did get a lot of work done on the online course I want to create. Now the issue is, who do I use for hosting? Teachable? Thinkrific? Udemy?
I like Udemy since my course is simple. They will advertise for me. Etc. BUT I will never be able to teach this course somewhere else if I go with Udemy. Hmmm. Since I’m doing the tarot thing, I hate the thought of having to advertise the course from scratch. I don’t have an audience for that. What I’m certified in is so far away from tarot. Well, most things are far away from tarot. Lol.
Anyway, I really have to think about it. I think I’m deciding between Thinkrific and Udemy which probably means I’m going to end up choosing Teachable. Haha. I did just create a Thinkrific school. It’s free to do that. I have my own “school”. How cool. 🙂
I finally got a request for a free tarot reading that didn’t involve love. It was a career reading! Anyone who has visited my site knows that career readings are what I want to do. She gave me five stars, and I was on point. Whew! I haven’t gotten a lot of feedback lately, so I’ve been feeling weird about tarot.
I know my readings are a little short, but I like to just answer the question. I always have at least 3 paragraphs and over 200 words. When I ask a question, I want an answer, not a novel. What a concept! But I did receive a beautiful novel for a question I asked. I have to leave her feedback. It was great. She was only off about the kid thing. LOL. Um, nope. Never. Not happening. I don’t know how she saw that. I am a dog mom, but that’s about it.
Well, I’ve gotta go work on stuff. Talk to you later. Bye! 🙂
