I don’t need nobody

The gun debate is just as tired as thoughts and prayers. Do something or don’t. And no matter what you do, a person who really wants to kill someone WILL do it. legal gun, illegal gun, knife, bomb, etc.

The company emailed me pics of my finished wig. It looks like it will need a little styling when it comes to the bangs. A slight bummer because I am horrible at styling hair. Hopefully, I can make it work. I don’t even own a curling wand. I have a feeling I will end up buying a bunch of stuff. I will try to do my research so I won’t waste money.

I am going to become awesome at taking care of human hair when I get this baby. (<— optimism)

It was nerve racking to email them back and say “Yeah, I confirm that this is what I want”. But I did. Ahh! I should have my wig soon. Yay. 🙂 I keep looking at the pictures and it feels like mine.

I was going to sing the praises of the medicine the doctor gave me, but I woke up slightly congested on Wednesday. The medicine still works. It just isn’t the magic drug I was going to call it. The drug is Fluticasone Propionate, btw. So if you ever get addicted to Afrin and need something, ask for that. 😉

I’m not struggling to breathe which is a great relief. I just want my nose to go back to normal.

I’ve been looking for a subscription service for some reason. Stitch Fix is too expensive for now. Le Tote is impractical for me. I just heard about JustFab on Wednesday for the first time. Yes, I am extremely late. Apparently everyone has heard of this company. Some people have bad things to say about it. Anyway, I signed up. I can’t recommend them because I just started. I got these two things for a total of  $39.95. No shipping fee.

Looking forward to getting these. I’ve been wanting boots and a denim jacket for a while. In fact, I was hoping Stitch Fix would send me both. I just hope the quality is okay. I’m not expecting greatness. I’m impressed by what I’ve seen from others posting their finds. I’ll post my review when I get my order in about a week.

I have decided NOT to go to Asheville next May. Say something happens to my car and I can only go to North Carolina once. I would rather go to NC to see Ellie Goulding (perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity) then go to Asheville (can happen anytime). I’m planning on going to the state park’s cabin again with my dog. I’m probably going on my birthday and staying for 3 nights like last year.

This week I…

Music of the week:  Ellie Goulding, Demi Lovato, A Great Big World, Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Chantal Kreviazuk, Florence + the Machine, Hamilton Broadway Cast

Song of the week:

Adele – When We Were Young (Live @ SNL)

I didn’t like this song the first time I heard it, but after listening to the SNL version, I approve! I’m also loving the new A Great Big World album. Once again, I didn’t like it at first but it grew on me. I love when that happens.

TV of the week:  Switched at Birth,  Jessica Jones, basketball

I’m on episode 4 or 5 of Jessica Jones. Don’t like it. I like that she is somewhat asocial.  But hate the sci-fi and action adventure stuff. So I’m done with the show. Gave it a shot.

Movie of the week:  none

Books of the week: I’m almost done reading  The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness by Elyn Saks. I will probably finish it tonight because I want to read/watch interviews of her and I must finish the book first. Also reading Rising Strong by Brene Brown.
